INTRAMUROS EXPERIENCE (3 hours) - US$ 35 per person Daily 9-12nn/2-5pm

Take a step back in time as you experience Old Manila within the walled city of intramuros. the first stop of the walking tour is Fort Santiago which served as headquarters for the military might of the Spanish, American and japanese colonizers until it's destruction in1945. The tour then proceeds past the Manila Cathedral, a magnificent architectural feat with it's intricate stone carvings, stained glass mosaics and rosette windows. Then to the San Agustin Church, the oldest structure in the Philippines that dates back to 1561. Then walk across the street to the Casa Manila, reconstructed 19th century mansion replete with 16th to 19th century furniture and furnishings. Tour includes private transport, services of an english speaking guide and entrance fees.

 

CORREGIDOR ISLAND TOUR (6 hours) - US$ 58 per person Daily 8-4pm

Corregidor, the island fortress, is a one-hour ferry boat ride. Located 26 miles west of Manila, "The Rock" as it became known during World War 2, was the last Filipino-American bastion to fall to the Japanese. Tour includes guided visit to the island's many "silent guns" and historical landmarks. Return to Manila after lunch. Tour includes private transportation, round-trip pier transfers, guided island tour and lunch.

 

TAGAYTAY TOUR (6 hours) - US$ 40per person Daily 8-1pm

A leisurely one hour and fifteen minute drive through the countryside passing through coaswtal village, rice fields, fruit orchards, and coconut plantations shall take you to the cool clime of Tagaytay. Rising 2,250 feet above sea level, Taal Vista Hotel offers a panoramic view of one of the rarest sights in the whole world - The Taal Volcano, the world's smallest volcano. After an irresistible "buco" ice cream, tour returns to Manila with brief stopovers at the Bamboo Organ. Inclusive of private transportation and services of an english speaking guide.

 

ISLAND HOLIDAY TOURS

BANAUE RICE TERRACES (4 days / 3 nights) Twin - US$ 160 / Single occupancy - US$ 200

Day 1: Banaue is home to the eighth wonder of the world, the renowned Banaue Rice Terraces which was built centuries ago by the Ifugao tribesmen. Banawe is an eight hour trip by coach from Manila and passes through Central Luzon, the country's rice granery.

Day 2: the second day brings a trip to the Banga-an Village by jeepney. There, one must walk down the rice terraces to reach the village. This affords a close view of the native life and culture. The tour then proceeds to the View Point where one gets a majestic view of the terraces. Pass by local markets on the way back to the hotelm. the afternoon is free for exploration of nearby villages by foot. Dinner is at the hotel.

Day 3: the tour returns to manila the following day and should be back in your hotel by mid afternoon. the package includes air-conditioned transport to and from Banaue, Then a jeepney ride to and from Banga-an Village and View Point, services of an english speaking guide, accomodations at the Banaue hotel and meals throughout.

Named as one of the best beaches in the world, Boracay is a small seven kilometer long and one kilometer wide isand in the southern Philippines that boasts of powdery white sand beaches, azure waters, stretches of cocnut palms and the makings of a tropical paradise. Definately a place for sunworshippers. From Manila, one can catch a direct flight to the town of Caticlan where a twenty minute ferry ride to the island awaits or catch Philippine Airlines to Kalibo where one embarks on a ninety minute scenic drive to Caticlan to catch the ferry. Kalibo is also accessible from Cebu. A three day/two night package includes round trip transfers from Manila or Cebu and Boracay, accomodations and American breakfast daily.
